Pro Flight Simulator Game Review

I was a big fan of Microsoft Flight Simulator X since its release, although I also spent much time of flight X-Plane, which I also enjoy many. I recently purchased Pro Flight Simulator and taken to a series of test flights. Now you have the advantage of learning from my experience before you fork on your money on a flight simulation game.

Installation was easy enough, with the download of the image of disc and several documents. Definitely take the time to download the available additional aircraft. You have to download the airplane one at a time, accompanied by a large banner offer the DVD version of the game for a $40.00 additional. I found the aircraft to be fast enough on my cable connection high download speed. Then, you must download the landscape worldwide, assuming you opted for the package with the landscape deluxe. I highly recommend this option, which increases the price by $79.95, but obviously enhances the experience greatly.

Download the landscape, this is where I seriously thought of ordering the DVD, it does not take much time and I experienced a few hiccups server along the way. The landscape is 10 tickets deg deg x 10 which you will need to download one at a time. The greatest frustration, I had was that the map does not indicate cells you already downloaded. Once once you get past this step, you never have to again, and the landscape is breathtaking.

I was pleased to see PA-28-161, Piper Warrior, as one of the aircraft choices. This was the plane, I learned to fly in 20 years of Wright-Patterson AFB. I loaded up the landscape for Wright-Patt and the rest of Southern Ohio and taken for a spin. The aircraft performance was remarkably realistic and matched my memory very well. Controls have behaved like the real thing and challenging until you get to them due to this realism. Landscape was beautiful and precise and included all the dude go reasons licence of driver for my private - Springfield, the County of Greene, Sporty, Muncie, Bowling Green and much more.

The variety of available aircraft is enormous, including some you do not very often see as the burst, as well as several historic aircraft helicopters and even a zeppelin. I've tried several of them, and even if some are better than others, were all homologous pleasant to fly and true to their real life.

Given the landscape worldwide, controls realistic, accurate weather performance, multiplayer mode and the number of aircraft in the choice, in my experience, Pro Flight Simulator is the most realistic experience available flight sim. Deluxe package price may be a little higher than others, but considering that it includes free updates for life, it is actually the best deal going.
